KIM FRICKLETON KTV
BIOGRAPHY
Kim Frickleton is one of Mnet's most successful and popular presenters. We discovered her at the tender age of 12 after a nationwide audition to find 5 of the coolest kids in the whole of Southern Africa who would become the face of KTV ... Kids Television.
We immediately knew Kim would be a superstar. She worked with us for 7 incredible years in which she presented so many of our popular shows and travelled all over the world where we would go "live on air" from exotic locations like Disneyworld, London, Amsterdam and Paris to name but a few. KTV was broadcast for 3 hours a day all over Africa and included live and pre recorded shows.
One of her most talked about and watched interviews was with President Nelson Mandela after his release from jail.
Sadly, at the age of 19, Kim decided to leave South Africa as she was offered lucrative contracts in London for ITV where she filmed a children's game show called "Terror Towers" and also a music and entertainment show called "Roar TV" which was broadcast throughout Europe. She then moved onto New York where she spent 2 yrs working for NBC on a travel show.
Kim then gave up presenting to get married and have children and was living permanently in the UK but we have finally managed to entice her back to Mnet, her original family where she is back on our screens. True talent returnes home.
